As part of my studies in graphic design and web development, I had the unique opportunity to work on a real-world project: redesigning the website for Gröna Tryck, a sustainable printing company. This project, undertaken in collaboration with a team, was a live assignment where I was entrusted with the responsibility for UX/UI design and the marketing strategy. My role involved creating a user-centric website that aligned with Gröna Tryck’s core values of sustainability, professionalism, and innovation.
I began by conducting user research and analyzing the company’s existing digital presence. This informed the design of wireframes and prototypes, emphasizing an intuitive navigation structure and a modern, clean aesthetic that reflected the brand identity.I worked closely with the team to integrate functionality and design, ensuring that the user experience was seamless across all devices. The mobile-first approach was central to the project, as we wanted to cater to the growing number of users accessing the website via smartphones
In parallel, I developed a comprehensive marketing strategy that focused on enhancing the brand’s visibility and engagement. This included crafting a content plan for their website and social media channels, with clear guidelines for tone, visuals, and posting schedules. Additionally, I designed visual assets and templates to ensure consistency in their digital communication.
This project taught me how to balance creative design with strategic thinking and how to collaborate effectively in a team environment. It was incredibly rewarding to see our work make a tangible impact, enhancing Gröna Tryck’s digital presence and aligning it with their mission to drive sustainability in the printing industry.
The experience not only reinforced my passion for UX/UI design and marketing but also demonstrated the value of aligning design solutions with business goals.
For this project, I developed a complete stylescape for a fictional spa hotel, focusing on crafting a cohesive and immersive brand story. My approach included defining the visual elements that aligned with the luxurious, tranquil atmosphere of the spa, ensuring every detail reflectec the essence of relaxation and rejuvenation.
The core of my work involved image editing in Photoshop, where I refined photos to enhance the aesthetic and atmosphere. I adjusted lighting, color palettes, and textures to create a harmonious and visually appealing look that resonated with the hotels brand identity.
This project allowed me to combine creative storytelling with technical skills, resulting in a stunning and functional visual concept.
As part of a university project, I undertook the challenge of redesigning the website for Orsa Stuguthyrning, a platform that was significantly lacking in usability and accessibility. The goal was to create a functional and user-friendly prototype that would address these shortcomings and provide a vastly improved user experience.
The original website posed several challenges, including poor navigation, unclear content hierarchy, and a lack of accessibility features for users with disabilities. To address these issues, I began with a comprehensive usability evaluation to identify pain points and accessibility gaps. The redesign process started with wireframes, where I restructured the navigation to be more intuitive,
ensuring that users could easily find essential information such as booking options, amenities, and contact details. A mobile-first approach was implemented to cater to the growing number of mobile users. In the prototyping phase, I focused on creating an improved user interface (UI) that was clean, modern, and visually aligned with the serene and natural experience of staying in Orsa.
High-contrast color schemes, clear typography, and alt-text for images were incorporated to meet accessibility standards. Features such as a prominent call-to-action for booking and an easy-to-use availability checker were added to enhance functionality.
This experience reinforced my ability to critically analyze digital interfaces and create solutions that balance functionality, accessibility, and visual appeal—skills I am eager to bring into future projects.
During my time at Hockeygrossisten, I was responsible for building the brand and managing all aspects of the business, except for the website itself, which was leased. My focus was on establishing Hockeygrossisten as a trusted name in the hockey industry while creating a seamless shopping experience for our customers.Beyond branding, I handled product selection, inventory management, logistics, and customer service. Ensuring that our customers had access to high-quality hockey equipment, fast deliveries, and excellent support was essential to the company’s success. I also worked actively with pricing strategies and supplier relationships to maintain competitiveness in the market.
Brand development was a key priority—I worked on defining a strong identity, building customer relationships, and positioning Hockeygrossisten as the go-to destination for hockey players of all levels. Through strategic marketing, social media engagement, and partnerships with teams and athletes,we successfully increased brand awareness and customer loyalty.
Growing Hockeygrossisten was both a challenging and rewarding journey. Through hard work, strategic decision-making, and a deep passion for the sport, I was able to build a strong brand and a thriving business that resonated with hockey players across different levels.
As part of a university project, we were tasked with creating a complete prototype for a fictional healthcare center. Working in a collaborative team, we followed a structured design process that began with developing a moodboard to establish the visual direction and tone of the app.
We also conducted a comprehensive market analysis to identify industry trends and user expectations.
To ensure a user-centered approach, we performed usability testing at various stages of the design process.
These insights guided our decisions and allowed us to refine the app’s functionality and aesthetics. The final prototype was a professional, visually appealing, and highly functional app designed to simplify appointment scheduling, health tracking, and communication with healthcare providers.
This project showcased our ability to combine research, design, and teamwork to deliver a polished digital solution tailored to user needs
